Privacy policy

Tollwise collects only what it needs to calculate what marketplace fee and policy changes cost you. We don’t sell personal data, we don’t use advertising pixels, and we never ask for marketplace logins, API keys or passwords.

What we collect

Numbers you type into the calculator stay in your browser unless you press “Save and watch”.
Analytics
We use two tools, and only for measuring this site:
- PostHog records page views and five steps: viewing a page, using the calculator or reading most of a page, leaving an email, opening checkout, and completing a purchase. Each event carries which offer you were looking at and roughly where you came from (for example “search” or a campaign tag in the link).
- Microsoft Clarity records session replays and heatmaps: where people click and scroll. Text you type into form fields is masked. Clarity cannot see inside the Lemon Squeezy checkout window.
Both store a small identifier in your browser (cookies or local storage) so that steps on different pages can be linked. If your browser is set to a European time zone, or sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we ask before loading either tool. Everyone else can switch them off with “Analytics choices” at the bottom of every page. We also keep your choice and the first page you arrived from in your browser’s local storage.
Who processes your data
- Netlify — hosts the site and runs our form handlers. Privacy
- Kit — sends our emails and holds the mailing list. Privacy
- Airtable — our operations records: contacts, orders and your figures. Privacy
- Lemon Squeezy — checkout and payments, as merchant of record. Privacy
- PostHog — product analytics. Privacy
- Microsoft Clarity — session replay and heatmaps. Privacy
Some of these providers process data in the United States.
How long we keep it
- Email and figures: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- Order records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Session replays: Clarity keeps them for 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete what we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Write to hello@tollwise.app and we’ll reply within 30 days. If you’re in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top, and email subscribers about anything significant.
